Hand rake, loosen, redistribute and level sand; remove visible litter and surface debris; and work carefully around equipment. Scheduled to suit site usage, condition and customer requirements, with visual condition observations and before-and-after photographs.
Periodic clean
Periodic mechanical screening and deeper cleaning for suitable playground sand areas. Specialist equipment may be used where appropriate to complement routine hand maintenance.

Founder story
Playground Maintenance is a family-owned Perth business founded by a father of two young children.
Like many Perth families, we spend a lot of time at local parks and playgrounds. Over time I became increasingly aware of how differently playground sand and softfall areas are maintained — some are regularly groomed and cared for, while others become compacted, uneven or littered.
One experience made it particularly personal. One of my children was accidentally punctured in the leg by a discarded needle at a local park.
That experience reinforced a simple belief: the places our children use deserve regular, visible and accountable maintenance.
Playground Maintenance was created around that principle, combined with a professional approach to scheduling, communication, reporting and customer service.
Our aim is simple: help organisations keep their playground surfaces well maintained, presentable and consistently cared for.
